Anne Jones

Senior Consultant

At home
I live in St Albans with my husband, Richard, our two teenage boys, Sam and Ned and our dog Indie (Indiana Jones). We spend a lot of time watching them play sport (aka taxiing) – which works for me as I love to watch both rugby and football. I also love to walk, to read, to catch up with friends and family and playing tennis. Despite living about as far from the sea as you can get, I love the seaside, especially in the Isle of Man where I grew up.

At work
Helping people challenge themselves, applying skills in a way that feels authentic to them is my passion. I design and facilitate programmes around leadership, communication and personal impact and have a range of coaching clients. I work primarily work across financial and professional services and began my career as a chartered accountant with Deloitte but realised my real passion was people development. In the learning team I ran teams both globally and nationally before leaving 16 years ago to experience a broader range of clients.

Greatest Achievement
Having a family that I love to spend time with – and accepting there may be things in life I can’t control!

Standalone experience – From a work perspective – seeing someone have that moment when they achieve what they wanted to, or can do something they thought was beyond them never gets old.

“It is our choices…that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities”. Such an empowering message (albeit from Professor Dumbledore!) and one that I try to live to support others.
