Denise McGahan

Senior Consultant

At home
I live in the hills above Belfast with my husband, our three children and many animals. I like to spend my spare time writing and making things, including growing our own produce in the garden.

At work
I have worked for Accenture, PwC and Deloitte for over 20 years. These experiences gave me a holistic understanding of organisational systems and dynamics. My passion for people development led me to coaching and a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. Today I work internationally as an executive coach, team coach and facilitator. My special interest is in identity development, supporting senior leaders and their teams to realise and express more of their potential and create positive workplace cultures that help them thrive.

Greatest Achievement
I’m blessed to have my family, but my greatest achievement happened last year which shows it’s never too late. After a lifetime of talking about writing, I finally sat down and wrote two books – a novel and a non-fiction book on identity development.

I love this quote because it speaks to our unknowable potential: ‘Sometimes it is the people no one can imagine anything of who do the things no one can imagine.’ Alan Turing
