Objective: To manage conflict situations comfortably and to be able to give constructive feedback in a way that builds the relationship.
Conflict and feedback are normal parts of any healthy relationship and yet they are two of the main areas in which clients tell us their leaders struggle. The result of this is that people tend to hold back and avoid performance conversations and then when they do discuss them they typically create more problems than they solve. Learning to resolve these issues in a way that does not increase stress levels and builds the relationship is therefore essential.
Consequently Sevenhill have developed a series of simple models that enable people to have difficult interactions ranging from on-going feedback to highly charged and significant conflict conversations. Our approach not only ensures that everyone is really ‘heard’ but that the relationships are also strengthened along the way.
